The Maguba concept
The Maguba concept was created in 2009 with the idea to combine Swedish design with the best traditional clog craftmanship. Natural materials, fun colors, and playful shapes became our trademark recognized by all those who are looking for a handmade, authentic, timeless piece of footwear. Today our designers work together with our cobblers to create distinctive clogs that are complementary to each individual personality. All our clogs are made in our family-owned factory from scratch, meaning that we handmake all the wooden soles and leather uppers by ourselves, using our own hands and old-school cobbler machines and tools. We use production methods and materials which have been demonstrated over the decades to be kind to nature and people. We choose simple and natural materials: wood and leather, to produce comfortable and stylish clogs, boots and sandals, which are kind to your feet and durable.
Slow fashion and respect for the environment
In the very essence of the Maguba brand lies an ethical approach and respect to nature and people. We try to source materials from European suppliers meaning less transport and therefore a lower carbon footprint. Dedicated to slow fashion principles, we are committed to continuously improving the sustainability of our production and distribution processes. That is why, by joining the WeForest project, we gave our word that we're going to plant a new tree whenever you buy a pair of Maguba clogs online!
